Privacy Policy
What we collect, and why
The short version: this is a barbershop's website. It has no accounts and takes no payments, booking happens on Booksy, and we use what you send us only to answer you. The details are below.
Who we are
KP's Barber Shop is a men's barbershop at 2100 Alamo Rd, Ste T, Richardson, TX 75080. This policy covers this website: what it collects, why, who helps us handle it and the choices you have. Booking on Booksy and the other sites we link to have their own policies.
What we collect
What you send us
When you use the contact form we receive your first and last name, email address, phone number and message.
Phone calls
Tapping our phone number opens your phone's dialer with a plain call to the shop. The website does not record the call or swap in a tracking number.
What your browser sends on its own
Like most websites, our host receives standard technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We do not run analytics or advertising tools on this site.
Booking
When you tap Book, you finish booking on Booksy, which runs our appointment calendar. Booksy collects your booking details under its own privacy policy, and we see your appointments there so we can look after you. This website does not take payments.
How we use it
- Reply to your messages and questions
- Keep the website secure and working
- Meet our legal obligations
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to answer you and keep normal business records. Server logs are kept only as long as our host needs them to run the site.
Children
Kids of every age are welcome in the shop, but this website is meant for adults, and a parent or guardian should book for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask to see the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
To make a request, call the shop or reach us through our contact page (details below). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Other websites
Our pages link to Booksy, Google Maps and our Google reviews. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
